Diagnosis

I had heart complications in my childhood.
I've never tried to worry my parents to much with it. I also did not want them to keep me off of the basketball court. Any pain I endured was a small price paid to enjoy being the energetic and active kid I always loved being.
It's odd. The more I experience, the further I get from the doctor's office. It's not because of problems with health insurance, (although it is a scam). It's not a problem with a phobia, (although those places creep me out). The problem I have with heading to the doctor is feeling like I'm finding out things I already knew about myself from someone who doesn't know me. My friend Chelsea
told me, "a diagnosis is a conclusion based on two opinions. Why do we all forget we are the second opinion?"
A doctor has a degree on the human body. The in's and out's, and the functions. But no one on this Earth has higher knowledge of your body than you do. With as many questions as they ask when you visit, they could never ask enough to equal the lifetime of experience you've spent with your body. The doctor is the expert on the subject, YOU are the expert on the object.
I have blindly followed doctors before, and ended up limping for 2 years for an injury that could have lasted 6 months if I followed my instincts. Your intuition is the best guide.
I've been having heart pains as of late. My first reaction could have been rushing to the doctor. Instead, I decided to understand exactly what I was feeling. I decided to check in with what I was putting into my temple. I had to be honest with myself about the amount of working out I was missing. Most of the time, your solution is right in your face. We are so unsure of our own voice. So much so that we end up searching for another to confirm feelings we knew we had. I've seen people go to the doctor knowing they had a cold, to hear from the doctor that they had a cold.
STAY YO ASS IN THE HOUSE. You see the boogers, you know what it feels like when you have a cold.
Most of the ailments that humans suffer are due to poor diet and inactivity. In my case, I've known for a long time I have an overactive heart. My heart loves to beat fast. If I am depriving it of working out, it will try to adapt and pump blood far slower through my system. Slower than I am used to. This ends up giving less blood to my muscles than they are used to, and I end up with pains I usually don't have. These are all simple things I understood about my temple by just examining it and comparing it to what I understand as my "normal." I have no degree, I just love and understand my body.
I have also been eating TERRIBLE foods lately. Pizza, cake, and chocolate. All things I normally stay away from, but with inactivity and this poor nutrition, of course I am experiencing pain. I have trained myself to adhere to a natural diet. My body is not used to junk food anymore, and to keep me on the correct path, it is giving me warning signs that the path I am going down currently is a dangerous one. Especially with my heart beating as it does naturally.
Your body is a temple for you to inhabit to carry out this experience. If you desecrate your temple, it will crumble and tarnish. If you treat it right and stay diligent with up keep, it will reflect that care in your health and your appearance.
I took myself on a run at 3 in the morning to give my heart what it wanted. After the run, the pain got lighter. I also noticed that my body started releasing the gas of all the junk I'd been eating.
Your body will respond positively to your positive input. Treat your body like the holy place that it is. It houses a very important energy that deserves your care. You deserve your care.
I love you!
Stay healthy!
