I have been harboring a guilty conscience about the situation in Gaza. Yesterday, one of my favorite people couldn’t help but reflect it back to me. I believe it is time for me to use my platform to state my feelings. Gaza is not a new situation, it is simply the present one. As a world community we have decided to place higher value in money and material over life itself. Situations like Gaza, The Congo, 9/11, The Slave Trade, and war itself is not a sign of hate as much as the reveling of greed. These atrocities are business transactions. In the grand scheme of human behavior, we are toxically navigating the human existence. This toxicity is making our day to day life poisonous to the environment, and deadly to ourselves. We use our life force to feed a world capitalist and colonialist agenda the continues to prove that the only real interest is money and power. Figments of the human imagination. To evolve and transcend, we must come to realize our oneness. We must abandon these notions that life is simply birth, work, the acquisition of things and death. The one thing we all share is now. Our existence depends on our collective awakening from our self induced slumber. An awakening to realize none of these cultural identities matter more than the identification of human and Earthling. Our life pursuits should not be centered around money but wellbeing. Our consciousness should not be power centric but unity centered. Our existence depends on it. Whether we destroy ourselves or the Earth beats us to it, Time is Ticking.
