Habits

We all practice habits that when brought to light, others will not understand. Some habits stay hidden because we know they are not for our best interest, but we continue to do them in the privacy of solitude. Usually for a reason only understood by us. Others stay hidden purely to avoid judgement. People will pass judgement on you for the habits you practice. They will pass that judgement and treat you differently, no matter how you behave. As humans, we are inclined to pass judgement prior to seeking understanding. It’s common for us to move in a manner based off our opinions rather than based off of the actual thing we have opinions on.

I have habitually judged others. I have done so and treated these judged people as if my opinions of them were fact.

I no longer wish to treat people in this manner.

I no longer wish to look at a persons situation, habits, or appearance and make my decision on whether they deserve my presence or my attention.

I want to welcome everyone in my experience with the same open arms that I would wish to be welcomed.

But it starts with me.

It starts with me getting my mind and my(self) to a place of peace where I no longer judge myself for the things that I have or have not done. It takes me avoiding judgement in my mind when I do the things that other’s don’t understand. Most of the energy that people feel others are giving them is created, perceived, and utilized in their own mind. Once you understand the power of your mind to create your perception of OTHERS thoughts about you, you release those perceptions and allow conversation and understanding to dictate how you treat others.

I want to ensure that everyone I meet and interact with gets the exact treatment they deserve. I want to greet every person with loving energy. I want people to know that they are loved from the moment they come into my experience. I want to provide a space like that for the people around me because I have already done so within myself. I have already built a solid housing for love within my being, and because I am constantly surrounded, I want others to understand that they too are constantly surrounded.
