I think we are all Jesus

Every holy book seems to be an expression of an agreed upon notion of what governs the universe. Each culture produces its’ own. From these expressions, people decide to take matters in their own hands and create how the universe should be governed. Whether it be holding others to commandments, or shunning people for lifestyle choices, we sometimes take these expressions and turn them into law.

As I receive the holy books, such as the Qu’ran and the Bible, I see how there is so much to offer from these perspectives on the universal energy. We can go to this being for healing, love, sanctuary, and judgement.

What a gift to receive!

To know that when you find yourself in a human body, you are protected by an eternal force that stretches beyond imagination. I found so much power in this idea. Knowing that my choices and my actions are divinely guided, even if I don’t currently understand how.

The odd thing about my understanding is that it never came from a book. I never grasped the concept of God, or self, or the universe by reading a book. Every book I have read has just guided me to another perspective of the same energy.

When I was younger, there was a moment I realized that the church I went to every Sunday to “be with god” was not getting me as close to him as I would like. One day, my mother decided to stay home from church, something my young brain couldn’t fathom at the moment.

How could you just sit out from church?

Why didn’t anyone tell me this was an option?

The only thing better than Saturday morning cartoons, is Sunday morning cartoon movies! I would have stayed home every Sunday if it wasn’t for my scheduled meeting with god. I was curious and decided to ask my mom, “How could you miss church? Won’t you miss god?” My mom replied to me with something that stuck with me:

“God is everywhere. There is no building that houses him. I do not need a church to be with God, I am with him all the time and he is with me. My daily conversations with him are more than any church could ever give.”

Imagine my surprise as I hear my mom basically say that church was obsolete.

NO I am not going.

YES I will be sleeping in today.

NO I don’t want to wake up early on Sunday.

YES I would like more Lucky Charms.

The reality is, no one thing will ever have the answer. No one thing that you read will ever solve your experience. These books definitely have some of the answers. They definitely show people what is “right” and “wrong.” Most of these books were written in a time of our evolution where some of these things were still a question. In my honest opinion, I believe they all have one theme that can work for us all:

Try to be the best person you can be.

Try to have the best effect on this experience as you can. Be good to yourself, and be good to others. We all have the ability to judge others and ourselves for the things we did or did not do. The blessing is to learn to judge and not allow that judgement to dictate how we treat others or ourselves.

I can do something in my life that I am not proud of. I can steal from my mom, lie to my dad, or cheat on my wife. No matter how “bad” the action, we must all understand that “God is everywhere.”

As the conceptual children of Adam and Eve, we received the knowledge of what “wrong and right” were. From that gaining of knowledge is a loss of innocence. The highest self, God, or the universe, is a concept we place on the governing force of our experience to help give us direction in this journey. The phrase “Only god can judge me” is to say that from my human perspective, I have no right to truly judge, or be judged. From the perspective of an all seeing, all knowing eye, I am at the mercy of its’ scrutiny. With the idea that an all seeing being is watching you, wouldn’t everybody decide to take the high road more often?

I had a conversation recently that really put things in perspective for me. Everything in your experience is within you. EVERYTHING. Including God. They are all simply vibrations that we vibrate with. Your parents, your spouse, your dog, your job, even your money. They are all vibrations that we must match to encounter or interact with. If I wanted to experience the vibe of my parents, I could literally duplicate my mom within my mind, by simply thinking of her, and experience exactly what I understand her consciousness to be. Your ability to be parented exists beyond the moment you leave your parents.

Why can’t that be applied to God?

We should all be able to govern ourselves with the same scrutiny, if not more, of an all knowing, all seeing force watching over us. We should all walk with love and good intentions in our hearts because we have allowed the vibration of love itself to vibe with us. Like…

Jesus Christ, The Son Of God.

Did you know that there was no word for son in the time that the Bible was written? The only translation close enough to the way the word was used in relation to Jesus was sound. Jesus Christ, “The sound of god.”

Hmm.

Sounds are simply vibrations that our ear can capture. If Jesus is just a man that found a way to vibe with the vibration of God, instead of making Jesus a deity, why not make him a mentor. We all completely have the ability of matching the vibration. We must find stillness within ourselves and understand we are all one family. We share not only an experience, but an energy. We are all parts of a whole. Both the Qu’ran and the Bible say that God “breathed his life into us.” If each of us has part of him within us, each of us together is him. It’s just about bringing us together…Like Jesus did.

Jesus was just a hippie that showed us love was the way.

He showed us that love and kind acts can connect us all. That loving yourself completely can help you love others completely. I’ve learned that no book has the “answer” but they do have a blueprint.

Outside of the rules, the separation, and the slaying of men, each book has a way for us to learn to love. The challenge for humans of today is to learn how to see outside of the lines of these old expressions, and find new ways to connect us all. Without judgement of past, present, or a perceived future of any person, being, or experience we have.

There is no you, there is no me, there is only one. And we are all one. Love your(self) completely.

Hotep.

Thank you so much for reading me!

Dios means God, Mac is the name for my ego or the chosen identity on this planet. I believe we all are spiritual representatives of life itself. What we do with that is up to us.
